History

Abbotts Chartered Accountants was established in 1990 by Bradley Abbott (FCA) and Christopher Higham (FCA).

Since 1990, the Abbotts Group has grown into a multi-faceted financial services group providing accounting taxation and business services advice together with wealth, debt management and personal insurance protection services. In 1990, the business commenced with 6 staff and has now grown to over 30 staff with a vast spread of experience and professional skills.

• Andre Parker joined Abbotts Business Group Pty Ltd as Shareholder and Director providing Senior Financial Planning services for Abbotts Wealth Management

• Eric Ballard joined Abbotts Business Group Pty Ltd as Shareholder and Director providing accounting, taxation and business advisory services for Abbotts Chartered Accountants
• Briony Knott joined Abbotts Wealth Management as a shareholder and Director providing Senior Financial Planning services having been a Financial Planner with Abbotts Wealth Management since 2016
• John Donald joined Abbotts Wealth Management as Shareholder and Director, providing Senior Financial Planning services

Abbotts Chartered Accountants acquired David Clarkes accounting practice

• Patrick Thatcher merged his accounting practice with Abbotts Chartered Accountants and joined Abbotts Business Group Pty Ltd as Shareholder and Director, providing accounting, taxation and business advisory services for Abbotts Chartered Accountants
• Abbotts Wealth Management established Abbotts Personal Insurance Pty Ltd and merged its business with Scott Reid, providing specialised personal insurance services under the Bombora AFSL licence
